AICD takes pride in providing the most comprehensive, professional, and productive instruction available. According to our students, there are no other ice or food carving training programs that even come close to providing the quality, quantity, convenience, and fine-tuned efficiency of what they learned at AICD. Added to this are the amazing results associated with our renown methods of private instruction.

In short, we are committed to making your instructional program the best and most highly regarded value possible. As you discover what is included in your tuition for Private Instruction, we hope you will agree!

Not Currently Accepting Reservations

for Private Instruction

AICD is currently in the process of
relocating from Fresno, California to

Oak Ridge, Tennessee!

Oak Ridge is a very beautiful area with federal status as a National Park
due to its historical significance as the Secret City in the lushly
forested mountains adjacent to Knoxville, Tennessee.

Due to the sheer enormity of the move and all that is
involved with re-establishing the studio, we are
not currently offering reservations for instruction.

Update: the first stage of the relocatin is complete.
We are now living in Oak Ridge.

The installation of high amperage electric panels needed for the freezers
and power tools has finally been approved! Rebuilding and outfitting the
new AICD training studio can now begin.
There is still a lot to do.
We are hoping to be up and running again by this time next year.

AICD is world those who value the best.

Wisdom worth repeating:

Pay now or pay later

Back in the 1800's, Englishman John Ruskin had quite a lot to say about the high cost of paying too little.

He wrote: "It is unwise to pay too much, but it is worse to pay too little. When you pay too much, you lose a little money and that is all. When you pay too little, you sometimes lose everything because the thing you bought was incapable of doing the thing it was bought to do".

Ruskin is also credited with another gem well worth mentioning. He said,
"I have no quarrel with those that sell for less. They know what their stuff is worth".

This wisdom is even more important when it comes to securing the kind of high quality, comprehensive instruction that makes amazing careers and reputations possible.

“I had created ice carvings in the past, and went to AICD to improve my skills. I'm so glad I did. Paul treated me so well, and he genuinely cares about his students' success. The one-on-one instruction is the best way to learn such a detailed craft. I wouldn't change a thing. Also, the food was great - thanks for the nice meals.

I hope to return and take the next level in the future. Thank you, Paul, for offering this program!”

AICD's Lifetime Certification Guarantee:

Due to AICD's proven "hands on" approach to comprehensive instruction and its stature as a private school, you can earn each level of AICD Certification for life with no certification fees, no yearly fees, and no membership requirements.

To maintain the integrity of AICD's educational programs, activities such as attendance at conventions, competitions, and related activities cannot be counted for receiving AICD Certification. A carver's unique experiences may, however, qualify as the prerequisite for enrolling in AICD's advanced instructional programs.
